This Week 16 slate is quite the doozy. We’ll be taking a look ahead to an intense divisional rivalry between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys, the NFC South mess, the Bengals-Patriots game, a look at Brook Purdy, and more.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys

The Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys will square off once again in the latest iteration of the classic NFC East rivalry. After a discouraging showing from the Dallas Cowboys last week, the Eagles will be feeling confident and looking for revenge. They’ll have their work cut out for them, however, as the Cowboys are still in the hunt for an NFC East division title and will be hungry for a win themselves. This game will be critical in the NFC East race, and expect fireworks.

NFC South Mess

The NFC South division has been one of the most unpredictable divisions in the NFL this season. After losing Saints QB Drew Brees to injury, and with the Saints now on the outside looking in, the Saints and Bucs are now vying for the division title. The Saints and Bucs will play in Week 17 for a potential divisional crown, and this could be the deciding game. The Panthers and Falcons are also still in the mix.

Bengals vs. Patriots

The Cincinnati Bengals will head to New England to face the Patriots in Week 16. This could be a pivotal match-up as both teams are fighting to stay alive in the playoff race. The Patriots will be looking to bounce back after a shocking last-second loss to the Dolphins last week, while the Bengals will be looking to take advantage of the opportunity to score a big upset and keep their slim playoff hopes alive.

Brock Purdy Check-In

The Iowa State Cyclones have had a decent season led by freshman QB Brock Purdy. Purdy has come on strong as of late, throwing for over 2,000 yards and 17 touchdowns in the team’s last five games. He’ll be looking to carry this momentum into the postseason and is positioned to have a big game in Week 16 against the Kansas State Wildcats.
