Welcome back to our challenge for day 22, where we’ll be using our small account of ,500 to try and maximize profits with realistic trades on the S&P 500.

This morning is a bit quieter, with the market wavering around flat and no real clear direction. As a result, we’ll be focusing our attention on the pre-market setups this morning, as well as the open-pit trade plays as the market opens.

Our first trade today is a pre-market setup that looks quite promising. We’ve been monitoring the stock of TSLA for some time now and believe it has room for continuation on the upside. The indicator we’re looking at is an inflection point. With the stock now having broken out of the 0 range and testing new resistance around the 0 mark, we think that the stock has considerable upside potential. With this in mind, we’ve decided to enter a long trade at 9 with a stop. Our target profit is set at .

Our next trade takes us back to the open-pit plays. We’ll be looking to capitalize on the volatility of the S&P 500, which has been quite active lately. Our strategy is to buy the S&P 500 when it dips below the previous day’s low and add to the position when the market rallies back. We’ll place a stop at the previous day’s close and hold the position overnight if it continues to move in the right direction.

Finally, our last trade of the day is another pre-market setup. We’re looking at the stock of Apple (AAPL), which has been on a tear lately and is now challenging new resistance of 0. Our plan is to buy the stock at 8 and place a stop loss of 0. Our profit target is set at .
