Here’s What Happened
Starting any business on a budget can seem daunting, but I decided to take the plunge and try my hand at Shopify dropshipping with only . For those that don’t know, Shopify dropshipping is a method of selling online in which a third party (usually a wholesaler or manufacturer) ships a product directly to the customer after the purchase is made.
I started by creating an account on Shopify and setting up a store. I opted for the basic plan because it was cheaper than the more expensive packages. Once the store was set up, I started researching different wholesalers and manufacturers for products that I could dropship. I eventually settled on a handful of them and ordered a variety of items that I thought would be popular.
Once the products arrived, I posted them on my Shopify store and also advertised them on various social media sites, such as Facebook and Instagram. This allowed more people to find out about my store and hopefully purchase my products. I was able to make a few sales and generally, they were profitable.
In the end, my budget gave me the ability to create a dropshipping business. I was able to purchase inventory, create a Shopify store, advertise my products online, and actually make a few successful sales. While it wasn’t enough to quit my day job, it was a great way to start exploring the world of dropshipping and I was more than satisfied with the results.
