How to Add Collections to Shopify (Step-by-Step)

  1. Login to your Shopify account.

  2. Click “Collections” under the Products tab.

  3. Choose the type of collection you would like to create – smart, manual or a gift card.

  4. Enter a title and description for the collection.

  5. Add products to the collection, by clicking “Add products” in the top right corner of the collection page.

  6. Select the products to add to the collection by ticking the checkbox next to their names.

  7. Adjust the sort order of the products in the collection, by selecting the arrows next to the product’s name.

  8. Rearrange the collection’s look, by selecting themes and changing the display options under “Collection headers”.

  9. Start promoting your collection, by adding the collection to your home page and sharing it online.

  10. Monitor your collection activity, by keeping an eye on views and purchases.
