Origin Story

Brick House Builds is an architectural and carpentry business located in a small town in rural New York. It was founded in 2018 by two lifelong friends, Tim and John. After graduating from college, Tim and John decided to put their studies to good use and started their business.

The duo had a passion for great craftsmanship and hand-built construction and got their start transforming rustic sheds and barns into wonderful works of art. From the small-scale renovations, they had done before, to now handling larger-scale projects, such as building custom homes, Brick House Builds has come a long way.

Now the business employs 9 people and continues to produce some of the most beautiful handcrafted structures throughout upstate New York.

Shop Tour

Welcome to Brick House Builds! Our workshop is located in a small industrial park in upstate New York and covers over 5500 square feet of working space. Our shop features every amenity that an architect or carpenter could need including tools, saws, hammers, materials, finishes, and more.

We also have a large array of educational materials such as books and pamphlets. Our employees are highly trained in the newest building techniques, so looking through these materials helps them stay ahead of the curve on all our projects.

Day in the Life

No two days at Brick House Builds are the same. The day usually starts with a team meeting so our experts can assess any changes to the day’s project and divide tasks accordingly. Then we’re off to the shop to begin the building and crafting process.

Each day brings with it the opportunity to create something new and push each of our projects to the highest quality standard. As the day progresses, our team focuses on the details and creates something that is truly breathtaking.

At the end of the day, the team will wrap up their work, gather the materials, and bring them back to the shop. After a long day, our team relaxes and celebrates all their hard work.
