This is a very exciting series of games between two of the strongest teams in the Southeast Asian Dota 2 scene. The Blacklist, having dominated the group stages, face off against the always consistent Fnatic. The series culminates in the grand finale of BTS Pro Series in 2023.

In game one of the finals, The Blacklist comes out of the gates with an aggressive lineup, going for an early game push strategy with Timbersaw and Ursa as their cores. Fnatic attempts to counter this aggression with an Alchemist offlane and a Mirana nuker core. Both teams trade kills in the early game and The Blacklist manages to gain the upper hand thanks to their early game pushes. However, Fnatic’s mid player Miracle’s, who had been extraordinarily consistent throughout the tournament, plays brilliantly on Shadow Fiend and evens the game out and manages to bring his team back into the game. Finally, Fnatic’s patience pays off in the late game team fights as they manage to overpower The Blacklist and take game one.

In game two, The Blacklist manages to hit their timings with precision and take an early lead in the game, thanks to a Muscular Tombstone strategy. Fnatic plays a defensive game and try to weather the storm of The Blacklist’s relentless aggression. However, their defensive line eventually cracks and The Blacklist manages to close the game out before Fnatic is able to turn the tide and take the game two.

In the deciding third game, Fnatic decides to turn up their aggression and takes a more chaotic and riskier lineup, featuring a four protect one strategy with Lycan and Tinker as their cores. The Blacklist counters this lineup and chooses to set up for team fights and locking down Lycan in the late game. However, Fnatic manages to find good fights and take the lead in the middle of the game. The Blacklist manages to even the scoreline and take the lead in the late game, but Fnatic finds one last good fight and outplays The Blacklist, taking the game and winning the series.

The BTS Pro Series grand final between The Blacklist and Fnatic was an extremely close affair. Both teams showed great mechanical skill and strategies throughout the series and managed to entertain the fans with their stellar and closely contested games. In the end, Fnatic emerged victorious in this nail-biter of a series and deservedly took the title of champions.
